Introducing...
Charity Tracks

sponsored by The PAN Network
and PAN's OneSource e-CD™ Distribution System

The PAN Network, birthplace of online digital audio, is pleased to announce the launch of Charity Tracks --- a virtual resource for humanitarian causes via music and the internet.

Charity Tracks unites artists willing to share their talents with humanitarian interests, special causes and non-profit organizations trying to raise funds in a world of dwindling governmental support while increasing focus on problems that face us all.

Charity Tracks enables qualified organizations to offer gifts of downloadable works of art to stimulate donations to their charity. For a small donation, the donor is given the choice of any item from a menu of artists, which they can then download from the internet. For a larger donation, the donor can select an entire e-CD™ to download, a video, or any number of other downloadable premiums the charity and the artists involved agree to provide.

Along with the gift, all downloaded premiums include a personalized message from the artist and/or the artist's bio, links to websites, photographs, and other items that the artist may want to provide.

Also included are documents, photographs, and videos focusing on the charity's mission, goals, activities, and ways people can support the cause.

Charity Tracks is powered by The PAN Network's OneSource PI platform which dynamically bundles a collection of many different types of files (digital audio, video, graphics, text) into a single compressed file, personalizes it, protects it from piracy, and delivers it on-demand securely to the donor. Specified inserts can be personalized on-the-fly with the donor's name or some other custom message from the charity or the artist. When applicable, coupons from corporate sponsors participating in a charity's fundraising efforts are dynamically barcoded during the download to prevent counterfeiting and to assist tracking for the charity's benefit after redemption.

Copyrighted content (including images and photographs) is protected with a new patent-pending anti-piracy technology called "DIF", or Digital Interactive Fingerprinting. A digital fingerprint is like an internal barcode that identifies the person who receives the premium. This barcode can subsequently be detected and scanned should the premium ever appear on an unauthorized website or P2P network. So every premium delivered is not only personalized on the outside; it's personalized inside as well.

Artists and non-profit organizations who would like to participate are invited to email us at betterworld2 (at) charitytracks.org.
